A Spoonful of Sugar IS the Medicine (kinda)

Don’t go bee line for the donuts, I’m referring to honey. And not honey nut Cheerios, but the RAW and unfiltered (preferably local) liquid gold kind. A recent research study looked at the effectiveness of honey for symptomatic relief in upper respiratory tract infections and found that honey is better at treating sore throats, stuffy noses, coughs, and congestion than conventional medicines, including antibiotics. Nature at its finest. The best part? It's relatively cheap, widely available and has no, to minimal, side effects (NO honey for infants under the age of one).
